Drive to ORLANDO for a Cardio Doctor , not one of these local butchers.. you want the best for yourself. convenience creates regrets..

Stay away from Orlando Health on 44 they were the absolute worst group of cardiologists I have ever used and I have used plenty of them. Totally worthless and they only care about their business not their patients.

So who do you recommend and why? Also, what was your experience that led you to the butcher comment?

Since you have personal experience with each and every cardiologist, using “butcher”, please explain which and the order of damage each has caused.

Then again there are many who actually have multiple years of Cardiac surgery, and Cardiac Intervention that none of them are going screaming into the night, using their expertise to find highly qualified Specialists

Unless of course your prior profession, was a Cardiac Surgeon ( many in the early days before cardiologists and interventions were as prevalent). Find today’s procedures with cardiologists and interventions not to their liking

I posted a recommendation for a cardiologist with a link to their website. It is no longer here, removed by a moderator I'm guessing. However, a post that calls local cardiologists butchers is still here. Makes me think I may be wasting my time with recommendations, and even logging into this site anymore.

Two identical threads, from OP, you posted on the other thread. Your post was not deleted.
Both have now been combined

Hello. I’m in need of a cardiologist recommendation. Thanks so much for your help.
Dr. Gibson is a very good cardiologist. Once you get past his Dougie Houser looks you will be surprised at the knowledge and care he has for you.

I love Dr. Coutourie and his office. I use him and I worked with him for 10 years at the hospital. You should have a PCP here that would recommend also.

I totally agree with the moderator oversight. My humble opinion they are a bit sensitive on several subjects. How’s a free and fair exchange of info doing to happen when anything remotely close to certain subjects is off limits. This really shuts down the flow of information. Especially in the last several years of things gone amuck. But hey, we can’t talk about that. To many overly sensitive feelings may get hurt. It’s ok for the country to go down the toilet, but just don’t talk about it. Got it! Oh, I just noticed a car that didn’t do a full stop at the stop sign. Time to make a new post about all the danger of not coming to a complete stop!
Wasn’t the deletion explained?

Hello. I’m in need of a cardiologist recommendation. Thanks so much for your help.

When I had heart issues I went to AdventHealth Waterman in Tavares. The cardiologist on call was Dr Thomas Parente. He diagnosed my valve issues right away and I've been going to him ever since. I had heart valve repair done in Michigan at U of M hospital and they thought his prompt action and diagnose was spot on. He's right across the street from the hospital in Tavares.

If it's serious, drive to Cleveland Clinic in Stuart, fl. They are the best.

I am in the process of obtaining a group of doctors I can see while in TV.

Eventually, they will become my primary medical team, as I transition from my DC area doctors.

I have an appointment for a consultation/initial visit with Citrus Cardiology (LSL) next week. I'll post a review after my visit.
