Played Briarwood yesterday followed by lunch at the Lopez pool bar . How much better than that does it get ? Well ? The weather was great to boot !

The course is in excellent condition from the tee boxes to the greens .

The maintenance crew is doing a good job in maintaining the course despite the amount of play it gets .

The greens really couldn’t be better . Medium speed and decent pin placements (for the most part ! LOL). The greens had a nice collar surrounding them which gives you a good chance at a decent chip ….

Most of the tee boxes were also in great shape .

Overall , an A rating is well justified….( almost an A+)

Not close to an A+ from those pics.

that’s because they replaced the 20 yo grass with new modern Tiff Eagle that withstands both winter and summer and traffic better.

Oakleigh and Walnut Grove are next, Amberwood is now… so all 4 will be great this time next year
