It is hard to tell if this violates the dress code:

Dress Code for Women
Fashion golf tops may be without a collar but should not expose the stomach and must have straps at least 2-inches wide.

Can't tell if her shoulder straps are 2-inches or greater, but if so than likely the top is within guidelines since it does not expose midriff. As for the jeans-like pants, I don't have an answer. Nor do I have an answer as to who pays $8.00 for that collection of advertising.

I would rather hear what OP meant by his statement.
I know as you do the TV golf dress code, wondering if OP does.

The game was invented (supposedly) in Scotland. Golf attire should require all players to wear the kilt. No ands, ifs or butt's may show, unless it's windy.
All I ask is respect for the game!

OP might want to spend 5 minutes understanding quality women’s golf apparel before you question authenticity.

Baleaf, Tail, Nike, Under Armor, Golftini, Swing, Adidas make the style of Women’s golf peg slacks she is wearing. Price $85-$150.

Calia, Golftini, Baleaf, makes the Golf top with large diagonal stripes in the front, smaller stripes in the back. $70- $100. Collar, can be either solid black, or white depending on the body color.

Yes both are regulation Women’s Golf Attire, the peg pants have been on the Men’s Pro Tour more than 3 years, especially on younger pros. (Because the young pros have physique to wear form fitting pants)

So yes they are high end golf apparel, it’s the buyers who choose the form fit, or loosely fit outfits. The pic denotes a action swing which shoulders and arms are hindering the full effect of the design of the shirt

I saw that cover photo and thought the same thing! It’s not like most female golf wear that I’ve seen. But she looked just great in those pants, very alluring 🔥

At one of my first golf lessons, I gave, the female person came to the lesson dressed in hot pants and a halter top.

I was more than a little stunned but went on with the lesson anyway. After 45 minutes in the hot sun and me sweating bullets, she asked, How did I do? I said,
You did great! What do I owe you!!!!!

There is no universal dress code for anything, male or female. Dress Codes are determined by the place you are attending at the time.

The problem with early women's sports, baseball, womens tour, they needed to sell sex appeal or skin to make people watch. That seems to be going away as women get more skilled.

However, fashion companies will still peddle sex appeal to sell clothes even if they cant get worn where you play golf.

Blue jeans are the bane of the golf business. Any self respecting private cub will not allow blue jeans. Had a women come to lunch with her friends, wife of a pro football player, she had on $200 designer jeans. She was refused service because of improper attire. Not a pleasant scene, BUT, she never checked the dress code and there in lies the problem.
Assumption is the mother of all f.....ups!:bigbow:

I thought her attire was great. No different than people playing on a cooler day. She can play on my 4some anytime!😊

I think Victoria's Secret attire should be allowed.

Do you really think she was playing golf when they took that picture? She lives on the golf course..they interviewed her, told her they wanted a few pictures, there you go. She is a great golfer, and a nice person.
Congratulations to her!!!

There wasn't a dang thing wrong with her outfit.... either you are jealous or an old bag. Or, if you are a guy.... well.... not even going there.

Carry on~

What's wrong with yoga pants as daily attire?

If a 15 handicap defines a great golfer, TV is loaded with great golfers.

What is wrong with all of you that are critizing her? You should get your facts straight - they were not jeans, they were designer golf pants and she WAS playing golf, they followed her for pics. If you can't say something nice please just don't say anything. She had a great accomplishment and it was a very nice article showcasing that but some of you had to find fault with it and create a post about it.

I could care less what people wear golfing, as long as they play fast, repair ball marks, fill in divots, and rake the bunkers.

Let's clear something up - this is not a fashion magazine. I wasn't aware that there were so many golfing attire experts in The Villages. Did any of you ever get past the cover page and actually read the article? What she accomplished is something that most golfers will never experience, and it's a memory that will last her a lifetime. So, stop with you critiquing of her golfing attire and actually read the article. I don't know how many of you are golfers but appreciate a well-deserved story on this individual and her love for the game of golf.

What I enjoy is when 200 lb women wear the same outfit and think they look just fine in it.:ohdear:
