It’s great to see that the Daily Sun is ranked number one in numerous categories. However when it comes movie listing it should get an F. At one time the paper included a listing along with a synopsis of the movie. Then it went to only listing the movies. Now, nothing.

If you are referring to the movie times at the Sumter Landing theater, they were moved to the bottom of the page opposite where they used to be (page E-2).

Also, I am sure the additional space for the movie info does not come cheap, I used the classifieds once, small ad was $50.

Did it rank number one in old news and advertising-or bias?

I thought the “number one” front page feature a few days ago was about The Villages, not the newspaper?

Well, the theater at Lake Sumter Landing is showing the Live at the Met operas. They are terrific. At $25 a ticket, they are much cheaper than going to the Metropolitan Opera in person. Today at 1 pm it’s Beethoven’s opera “Fidelio,” one of the great ones. I’ll be there. Glorious music!

Yeah. And is also funny when somebody bitches about someone they think is bitchingYep, typical here and on social media in general. The Sun was not ranked number one for delivering to non believers (people on their no paper list) on super Saturday (repeatedly)?

Let's face it, most of the articles in The Villages Sun are popcorn and bubblegum news. The Developer owns the paper and can print anything they want to at no charge to them. Yes, it is all happy news and limited from as to what they have to say and publish for us to read. So biased and controlling articles they publish. You will never read about home robberies, golf carts stolen, contractors stealing your hard-earned money, and well yes anything negative to life in the Bubble. Read the sun in stride and don't base life off of their articles.

The developer doesn't operate the movie theater anymore. So why would he promote somebody else's business for free? Funny side note: When opening the villages.net website, there's a icon for "Now playing at the Old Mill Playhouse." Click it and you get "Oops! That page can’t be found."
