The Celtic Village Show Band is opening our practice time to all Celtic musicians in open sessions, starting Monday, March 24 through Monday, August 25, 1:00-3:00pm at Big Cypress Rec Center. Sessions are open to The Villages Residents and guests with passes only. Come as early as 12:30 to set up and tune. We also welcome musicians interested in playing Celtic music with the following instruments: fiddle, flute, whistle, accordion, harp, voice, bodhran, guitar, banjo, other Celtic strummed instruments (no ukulele or harmonica, please). We welcome those who read music and those who play without it. If you need music, please bring an iPad with ForScore loaded for easy music sharing. Paper music will not be provided.
