I love mine, and currently the best value out there. I don’t use mine for golf, some do.

Don't use it for golf, the door slamming on the course is hated by all.

We love ours! In fact, bought our first - a 2016 model coupe and put almost 15k miles on it before we bought our current 2024 model coupe 11 months ago. Already have about 3000 miles on it. Also have a Yamaha! we average about 4k miles per year. We use our carts to go everywhere in The Villages! The Atomic is ALWAYS used on bad weather days. I agree, would not like the doors on the Atomic for golfing.

If you plan on using this for golfing, I would double check that it is allowed and has "turf tires", and I agree with above the doors will be a pain in the butt for golfing.

There are a lot of these used on the golf course, with door slamming and all. Not an issue, it’s a personal choice.

Been in one. I now know how a sardine feels.

Great if you’re a munchkin looking for something to drive down the yellow brick road.

We thought they looked cool, enclosed, a/c, some nice benefits, etc.. Then we test drove 1, no thanks. With a small lithium battery, it would have been $6000 more than the Yamaha we were looking at. Glad we bought the Yamaha.

As they are not golf carts Atomic Cool Kartz need to be kept off the golf cart lanes.

Source?

While we would never buy one, I disagree with your statement.

Said with 100% respect, if we all chimed in to just say we disagree with your statement, these forums would be very long. Tho I’m sure some will disagree with me.

Getting in it when you park someplace can be an issue when you have carts on both sides of you. You might be stuck there. You need more width
( kind of like the 4 front facing golf carts, only they are longer they stick out into traffic lane when they park)
Having the enclosed cart is just not the same fun as running around in a golf cart.

I found that out when I owned an Atomic. I mostly drove with the doors off but I had the doors on and parked in half of a parking spot. I never did that again. You will need to park like an automobile to avoid getting trapped.

Just an observation, most of my friends and aquaintances loath these clown cars.

Why not support a truly American made LSV? Honor brand is built in South Carolina and made up of American made parts.

It provides the comforts of a car, so… just drive your car. I want the experience of a golf cart openness, wind, some light rain, just being able to better experience the outdoors.

Absolutely not true. They are golf cars, and we, as well as all other Cool Kart owners, drive them on the MMPs daily. In fact, unless they’re registered as street legal, which most owners don’t do, they can’t be driven on the street except in golf cart diamond lanes like all other golf carts.

Personally golf carts look cool and pushed by many as a big reason to move here, but they are good for short trips only, so I would rather use my car than spend 15-20k for limited use vehicle.

We’ve had ours for one year now. Also have a Yamaha gas cart, which was our first cart purchase. Love the Yamaha more, but I can’t drive it as it’s very hard on my bad right knee. The cool kart is very easy for me to drive with a gas pedal similar to a car. Also, I (we) love the AC in summer. Since I’m not at all comfortable driving a car here in FL I wanted to have some independence by at least being able to get around TV in a golf cart. For that purpose it’s been great. But, when the weather is decent and hubby and I are going somewhere in TV together, 98% of the time we’re taking the Yamaha cart with its upgraded comfy bucket seats, and open air ride. The worst feature of the Cool Kart in both of our opinions is the seats, which aren’t upgradable and are very hard on our backs if out for more than a couple of hours.

We have one and love it! We did not make ours street legal, although you can. I'm not sure why you'd want to drive it down SR44 with traffic whizzing past you at 55+ mph.
They are allowed on the multi-modal paths.
We also use ours for golf. We close the doors when driving between the tee box and the green, but when out of the cart golfing, we leave the doors open. We especially like the heat, air conditioning, and windshield wipers on those cold, hot, or rainy days.

Both have their place, carts are better for golf, Atomic for those who do not. Enclosed carts with folding doors cannot share a parking spot unless one is upfront and the other staggered behind, same true for Atomic. Clown carts are the ones with colored lights all over and under or the idiot with the front led light aimed at oncoming vehicles instead of the roadway.
Atomics offer comfort, safety, seat belts, back up camera, turn signals a car can see plus a windshield with wipers. A new Yamaha with out most of the above items costs about the same.

Right? They look like a smart car and a pinto procreated. I don't know why one just doesn't buy a smart car instead. If you're not going to use it to golf, why bother?

Great for golfing! There is more road noise out there than closing a door !
