We played El Diablo on Thursday…. What a disappointment ! The course is basically being minimally maintained .

Tee boxes were terrible, lot of them not level.

The greens were okay EXECPT for the fact that they are riddled with those small weed tuffs all over the place which definitely affected the putts ….

Overall , the course is very dry and we can blame mother nature for that as the ponds on the course used for irrigation are already very low.

Anyhow, very nice layout but the course earns a C rating….

We're playing it this afternoon. Last time we played it was a month ago and it was pretty good at that time.

Not to change subject, but where did the water go? Courses were closed for weeks 4-5 months ago due to flooding. Pond at Hacienda is almost bone dry.

In meantime people complaining about fees going up while courses deteriorate. Can't win.

I hear what you’re saying.

Regarding the pond’s low level , I think it’s a combination of the lack of rain over the past months coupled with the courses draining them for irrigation.

We should begin to see relief soon in that department….
