If a tree falls on your ex in the woods and no one is around to hear it…. you should probably still get rid of the chainsaw.

If a man is walking through the forest and there are no women around and he says something,
Is he still wrong?

Probably pretty hard to ditch the chainsaw unless you also have a shovel and various other implements. And you will have to do something with your significant other's body. Unless there is a pack of hungry wolves around.

Memo to self: Don't forget the wolves ... this time.
Practice makes perfect.

I doubt if any of my exs read Talk of the Villages. I recall that I went on a Facebook group for those who grew up or lived in Reno, NV in the 1960s and 1970s and almost the first person that made comments about me was a girl I had stood up for the 1976 Junior Prom. I did not like it when she joked she would sick her German Shepherd on me if I did not kiss her. This was a woman I hardly knew and decided I had enough things to deal with than adding someone who threatens violence if she does not get her way.
She did ask on the message board why I had stood her up. She seemed to forget about the pooch that was also in the bedroom. And I had not been sure she was joking.
The woman no longer lived in the US if memory serves back when I was on that Facebook group. I did visit with a lot of people from my teen years on there.
I and a girl named Yolanda had seperate wings of the arts building at our high school for our art show in the Spring of 1976 and I had misspelled cactus in one of the drawings and my art teacher forced me to keep that in the show. The stood up teen did have a lot of fun with that. She seemed to really like reminding me of the cactus.
I did interact with Yolanda a little bit on Facebook in that group. Cool lady.

Started off as a joke and that is what my comments are based on.

Reminds me of my one-time favorite song:
"I miss my ex-wife... but my aim is getting better".
