We put a three tiered TV stand in our driveway for sale with a sign on it showing the cost.
We left for 20 minutes, came back to see the TV stand gone. However to our surprise the TV stand was gone along with the for sale sign. Apparently one of the glass shelves broke and the thief let the broken glass lay in the road. After questioning neighbors one told us she saw a guy trying to load it on the back of golf cart. We purchased our home here April 1st thinking TV was a safe community, we hope this is our only issue from here on out.

Maybe they knocked and nobody answered since you weren’t home? Maybe they planned on stopping by later or the next day to pay? Maybe they forgot to bring a broom and dustpan for the glass?
Just hate to see someone painted with a broad stroke when there could be an explanation.
Oh and welcome to TV…

Or the sign blew away. Everyone knows anything sitting at the end of drive is free gain. Even the trash guys will just throw away. Should have put a sign by the road, and left the stand in the garage. It’s not like someone did a break and enter, to make you feel unsafe. You put something in the Free territory area of any village in TV, it’s gone
Fun fact in our old neighborhood a new couple was waiting for their van pickup to the airport at 6am. Hauled their suitcase to end of the drive, while in the house the suitcase was picked up by trash guys. Lesson learned.
Never put anything of value at the end of your driveway
