I need a good collision shop. Fender bender.
Not too fond of dealer.
Anyone have a suggestion for a reputable shop near the villages?

Try The Bumper Man, 352-753-2240. He will come to your house. If it is a small dent, send him a text photo, and he will tell you if he can fix it. Another option is Jason, 352-978-1997. If you really need a body shop, try Phil's in Leesburg, 352-787-1308.

Note that a lot of dealers don't do their own body work.

My daughter hit something with my Prius a few months ago. Needed a new fender and front bumper. I took it to Gerber collision in Leesburg. Its a chain but they were pretty good. You take pictures of the damage and they give you an on-line estimate. I took it to them and they confirmed the estimate in person and did the job in about a weeks time. I didn't go through insurance, just paid out of pocket and it was about $1500. I thought that was pretty cheap. The paint job on the replacement parts (which they do in house) was good and they used factory parts.

I just had Gerber Collision and glass fix mine and they did a great Job. They work with most insurance companies.
