Burrowing Owl Model Build Slider Question

Does anyone know if you can enlarge the slider on the Burrowing Owl model?

This sounds like a newer house, so I would contact the local county building department for a copy of the house plans, and then ask them about your plans. In GENERAL the houses have a lintel beam over the sliders and expanding this opening would require a new lintel beam, new tie down straps to the roof, new connects of the beam to the rest of the house, etc., in other words this may not be practical.

More importantly are you block, or poured wall? Block will be costly, but doable.

Solid pour wall, two contractors told us they wouldn’t do any changes to windows after market. It one reason we are choosing not to build another home. One reason no more stacking door walls.
