When I hear that I think about changing diapers on babies or patients, twerking, porn, pole dancing, a dog with worms but not the NFL.

The vote was 22-10 to ban the play but they needed 24 votes (75%)’for it to pass.

If you are pushing someone's head against someone else's equipment covered chest that might result in a serious neck injury. Especially if you have an extremely strong person doing the pushing.

Football is a relatively dangerous sport that has risk of injury on EVERY play. The players know this going in. I guess the ridiculous salaries are enough to compensate them for that risk in their judgement.

There is no evidence of increased injury due to this play. That's one of the big fallacies put forth by the team looking to ban the play.

Probably because it has not been done often. The tush push that is. It would take a strong person pushing though. It is basic physics that very every action there is a reaction.

The teams that are so against it should have better defenses to minimize the additional yardage gained from it.

Only point-28 of one percent of plays last year involved the tush push. About once every 3 games.

The Packers next are going to submit to the NFL that the play be called the Love Shove.

It is usually each individual pushing against other individuals as far as I could see. It is not using someone else's body as a battering ram as with the tush push.

And here I am thinking it's because rugby players are tough. Silly me. πŸ™‚πŸ™ƒπŸ«
