One of my wife’s purse is about 10 years old. On the open cut edges, it’s seeping a hard sticky crud that the manufacturer is calling Glazing, and wants big bucks to fix.
Any idea if there is a local leather smith around to bring the purse to? This is horse country, has to be something around.
Thanks in advance.

Eustis Shoe and Leather in Eustis-he fixed a purse for me. The shop is cluttered with all sorts of leather goods and has that smell of the old shoe and leather repair shop in my childhood home town. I was very pleased with the repair. Make it a trip and go to Peddler's Wagon that is about half a block away.
