Anyone with a little more info than the promo videos that go out now and then with some knowledge about when things will actually open in Eastport/Middleton that we can enjoy?

For what it’s worth, I had a friend visiting from Colorado a few weeks ago who is working with a Villages sales rep to possibly purchase a home here. I decided to go along and look at the new inventory as well. I asked the sales rep about the timeline for Eastport. He said there should be nightly entertainment beginning sometime in November of this year. We’ll see if he had any “inside information”, or was just speculating.

Victory sports grill is open located across from the High School if you want to cruise up that way and check out the streets. It would be nice to get the square rolling and take some of the crowd away from Sawgrass.

We were told more store openings will occur in the next few weeks. I have not heard anything regarding the opening of Eastport other than the bank. (which is open for business)

Most openings Eastport/Middleton will be “soft” openings. That is, a little at a time, no big grand opening. Due to TV wanting to get a grip on traffic flow. Coming from a public meeting on this very subject at Eisenhower Rec Center just last night.
