Played Heron yesterday for the first time since the makeover.

The course is in great shape , nice plush green all over . Only a couple of “bare spots” here and there.

Greens are in great shape with a nice collar great for chipping. The greens are SLOW at the moment and one of the guys made a comment about how slow even on a downhill putt! 😂

Tee boxes and “fairways” were in great shape as well . A nice touch was the mowed area between tee boxes and from the front tees onto the fairways. I’ve not seen this (that I can recall) on any other executive

I hope that the maintenance crews continue to do a great job as has been done up to now .

I would give this course an A rating.

Interesting review.
I live on Pelican, which is getting ready to reopen after a year and a half rebuild.
The grounds crew has told us that once Pelican is open they are going to close Heron and do a complete revamp there.
