According to my weather app, we got 3.7 inches of rain in the last 24 hours.

My rain gauge shows 0.75 inches of rain. I live near sawgrass.

Did anyone get close to 3.7 inches? If so, where did you live?

Drained 3.7” out of our very large rain gage from Friday night. Saturday evening rain into Sunday was 2.2” of rain. Our lawn loves the rain, pool not so much.

LOTS! We don't have a rain gauge, but it is wonderful. Spring was so very dry here in TV. Lately, radar has shown most storms coming south to north - and many directly over TV. So many times in the past, storms came west>east and missing us.

Rainfall in TV varies very much from one area to another. Once I had rain coming down hard in my backyard and my front yard and street were bone dry!

This is a very helpful report. Is it generated from a public source or do you have your own system?

Village of Tamarind Grove, about five minutes drive north-west of the intersection of Buena Vista and 466A. SEVEN INCHES, filled right to the top of my rain gauge. In the hurricane last summer, that gauge measured 9” in 24 hours (I emptied it during a break in the storm). The manmade lakes I drove by yesterday along 466A and south on Morse are all up around three feet, overnight, from accepting run-off. They are now full to where they should be. And the grass on the golf courses is so beautifully green.

My Rachio irrigation system keeps sending me multiple e-mails saying there is rain, so no irrigation needed...haha guess that means 3.7" worth?

The data is from my Tempst personal weather station (PWD) but there are several apps that let you access PWS near you.

PWS Monitor on the App Store (https://apps.apple.com/us/app/pws-monitor/id713705929)

PWS Connect: ad-free weather on the App Store (https://apps.apple.com/us/app/pws-connect-ad-free-weather/id1571417867)

Weather Underground: Local Map on the App Store (https://apps.apple.com/us/app/weather-underground-local-map/id486154808)

Example map from the PWS monitor app of stations below the Turnpike

Not at all. 5,400 sq ft lot! Raining hard and running off my awning around my lanai in the back and bone dry in the front yard and street!

If you go to Weather Underground and look at all the PWS’s around you, you can see the rainfall at each station and see how it varies.
