I hate to toss new, unopened and unwanted products (like sample size toothpaste, floss, hotel soaps, and similar new items). Are there any close by drop off containers for these to be collected and put to use? If not, there should be... I have been tossing them for years, but know they would be handy for homeless or storm or other victims in dire times. I am hoping for a quick drop off place, similar to what the Lions Club does for unwanted eyeglasses. I don't have time to walk into buildings for 15 minutes looking for a donation area or the right person to see. Thank you.

You can drop them off to Operation Shoebox at Lake Miona Rec center for our troops. Great cause for our military.

There's also Haven, a non-prof supporting victims of violence and sexual assault. They offer temporary shelter, job and legal resources, food, clothing, mental health care, etc. They have a thrift shop in Leesburg.
