From Low Rider Dachshund Rescue of Florida:
Marilyn who was recently adopted is still missing in the Villages, FL and we need all the help we can get to locate her and bring her to safety.
- She got loose and ran from her adopter Wednesday morning in the Petco parking lot (600 US Hwy 441 The Villages, FL 32159)
- She was last spotted yesterday (Thursday) afternoon around Veterans Memorial Park of the Villages (Paige Pl Lady Lake, FL 32159)
- She may have been hit by a car, when she was spotted she was limping and not bearing weight on one of her front legs but she was still too quick to get caught.
- May respond to Marilyn or Mary
- Roughly 20 pounds
- Not wearing a collar, harness, or leash
- Scared of males, more comfortable with women
- LOVES Publix or Sam’s Club rotisserie chicken and would probably come towards a rescuer if they had that
- If spotted, message us on here or call 302-603-6624
We are scared and worried sick for Marilyn. She is hurt and in survival mode and we need to get her caught and get her immediate medical attention. She is also scared of storms and will be TERRIFIED of fireworks if she’s still loose on the 4th. Please share in any Villages groups or pages you’re in, we can use all the eyes we can get to get Marilyn back to safety!
