Unfortunately, I hired another company to do the granite countertops, tempted by an $800 discount. I had sent clear messages specifying which stone should go in the kitchen and which in the bathrooms. It all seemed straightforward.
But when I came back from a three-week trip, my heart sank.
The blue-toned stone meant for the bathroom was installed in the kitchen, and the light stone meant for the kitchen was installed in the bathrooms. I called, showed them the texts and plans, but their response was cold: “We followed the contract. Nothing can be done.”
