Some years back I was applying for a fishing license. It was before they could just scan your driver's license and get all your data from that so it was question-and-answer. Usual questions. Height? Weight? Etc. We got down to Eyes? to which I replied "two".

The lady clerk looked up from her keyboard and said disgustedly "I meant the COLOR".

Some folks just have no sense of humor.
