I'm sure this question has been asked. I will be moving into a new home in Well Point shortly. Evidently there are 3 Internet/TV providers. Comcast, Spectrum and Centric are available as I understand it. Can citizens of the Villages comment on the pros and cons of the choices available. I've found the Centric to be far more expensive than the Comcast or Spectrum. THANKS

If you call Spectrums local sales rep you will get better deals than online. Call Lysander Jimenez, he is a local rep. Get 1 gig speed for $50/month for 2 years with no contracts, or 500 Mbps for $30/month. He has a lot of great reviews on Nextdoor App as well. His number is 352-239-3538.

Centric Fiber will probably have a router already installed in the home. Their service is fast, reliable and not over priced. I use them in Shady Brook and would recommend them to you.

Since you have centric Fiber available in your house that you can activate just by calling them up when you move in, you would never ever consider cable from spectrum or Xfinity. The only thing is that you’ll have to stream your TV because they only provide Internet service. If you need any help, please reach out to me and I can help you switch to streaming if that’s what you wanna do.

We went with Centric fiber internet because I have had to deal with Comcast/Xfinity for the last twenty years and don't ever want to again. So far, we have had no interruptions.
As for TV, we decided to go with YouTube TV. That gives us more than 100 channels, and we can take it with us. When we go to travel - even to Europe, I can take a Firestick with me and watch TV just like I would at home.

Most in the new areas are doing exactly what you are doing. There is absolutely no reason to sign up with Xfinity or Spectrum.

We have Centric and are pleased with it
Never want to deal with a cable company again, unless they're the only choice
