What time does the Sumter County Mosquito spraying take place?

I received an email alert that Sumter County will be spraying for mosquitos in my area today 8-3-25. There is no time given. Anyone know if this happens during the day or at night?

It’s definitely after dark. They seem to go by our house around 11:00 but I’m pretty sure they’re spraying all night.

They do it after we go to bed so that we won't run down the street chasing the truck like we did as kids.

The Villages regularly spray in the weehours of the morning on a regular basis. It is very rare that individuals get bitten, bugs of any type Do Not Survive in The Villages, that said Households do Need Pest Control for Roaches & Ants...they do survive The Villages Pest Control.

Except for the roaches and ants comment, this is completely incorrect.

I didn't look at my watch when the truck came by last night but it was before 10:30 as has been the case the last few sprayings.

I have been bitten outside my house, at Brownwood, and at Sumter.

I notice more bugs south of 44 which *might* have something to do with an attempt to keep the area more natural.

What made you think roaches or ants might be affected by mosquito spray?
