R.I.P. Loni.
Loved her in WKRP in Cincinnati, a program which IMO never really got the credit it deserved. One of the first shows of the time that portrayed women as strong and independent: She as Jennifer Marlowe as well as Jan Smithers' Bailey Quarters pretty much ran the station while the various men (to a greater or lesser extent), bumbled about.

Travis ran things, actually.
Shows like Alice, One Day At A Time, Good Times, Mary Tyler Moore all had strong female characters and preceeded WKRP. The idiot husband/ smart wife combo has been a staple of sit coms from the start (Honeymooners).
