National Anthem

Perhaps these little girls will be asked to sing the National Anthem at next year's Super Bowl? This was at a Texas Tech basketball game. The two on the right are 6 years old, the two in the middle are 7 years old and the one on the left is 8! It seems to me that this is how this song should be sung! Wow!

They get my enthusaistic vote. No frills. Sung straight and true.

I've watched thousands of ball game and this is one of the few times I can remember where the crowd waited for the singer(s) to finish without disrespectfully chanting to get a game started that much sooner.

I did a youtube search after hearing these young girls who sing so beautifully. Apparently they are now in their teens and one of them, Andi Kitten, has left the group as the scheduling of the group has gotten very heavy and too much for her parents with 5 kids.

The group is still going with another singer, and still sounds clear and strong. They are now really out of the "cute" category and into the "pop" groups. I think that they still will sing at games and they still sound good.

Here is a duet by 2 of them that I found really entertaining. They have had really good coaching.
