Thinking La Cuisine or Stirrups. Haven't been to either of them. But they seem like places my wife would like.

Stirrups is fabulous. Not only is the service and the food extraordinary but the building and the grounds are beautiful.

Go to the Equestrian Center in Ocala if you want fine dining. And I mean FINE and expensive. Truly an experience you two won't forget. Many shops to browse, horses to gaze at, things to look at. Amazing!

You do realize that's Stirrups, which has already been mentioned many times

Milano's in Ocala is owned by the same group that own half of the Villages C.C., but has a nice ambiance. It's located in a strip mall.
We go about once a year when in West Ocala.

I've been to Stirrups. It's over the top good. It will spoil you for other restaurants. BUT bring big bucks.
Worth every cent.

If we were getting hotdogs from a cart and eating them while walking around a crowded park festival, it'd be "the most romantic." The most romantic is wherever my husband and I are dining out.

If romantic equated with expensive, we'd never have a romantic dinner, ever. So glad the two aren't equal.

Buy your gal a wrist corsage and take her to Denny's. Tell her you love her when the dessert comes and feed it to her one spoonful at a time. That'll be the most romantic restaurant, this year.

A recently married couple is having dinner at a fancy restaurant. When the meal is served, the husband says, “The food looks delicious, let’s eat.” The wife says, “Honey, you always say a prayer before eating at home.” The husband replies, “That’s at home, sweetheart. Here the chef knows how to cook.”

The Rose Plantation has a private dinning room. It is around $100.00pp. They serve a 5 course dinner, that you decide ahead of time (2 weeks) by meeting with the manager. It also includes a bottle of their house wine.
You have your own server.
My husband and I got engaged in this room and go back ever year on our anniversary.
We have been there 8 times in total.
The food and service has been great.
We just celebrated our 7th anniversary a few weeks ago.
Fun, private, and close to home. We highly recommend this for special occasion.
