Low water pressure

My water line and meter were just replaced and now I have very low water pressure. What can I do about it, or who to call. Thank you.

I would start by calling District Property Management, 352-753-4022.

You should also buy a pressure gauge that will screw onto an outside hose bib so you can actually measure your water pressure. They can be purchased from Amazon for about 10 dollars.

Sounds like the plumber forgot to fully open the valve after the water meter was replaced. The water pressure gauge may show correct STATIC pressure, but you will need to take a reading when another faucet is turned on.

Is it low pressure throughout the house or just from faucets?
Is the garden hose/bib pressure flowing as before?

Sometimes a repair will result in debris up the line that will clog faucets/shower. Otherwise, the person who did the repair needs to return and make sure the line is fully open and your pressure is back to your satisfaction. My pressure satisfaction is based on the shower pressure....that's the only one I am adamant about when it comes to pressure.

I live in area where everything on potable water, early mornings water pressure drops as low around 40 PSI due all lawn irrigation running. It’s usually 55 PSI in my area. Sounds like meter was replaced? Maybe defective shut off valve if it’s’ fully opened, you should be able to see that? (was there leak or was just new digital meter installed?) If so probably contracted. As suggested call villages water management. Course if it was after the meter going to house then you have to call plumber?

As others have mentioned, could be a few things, but ... when work is done on an underground water supply, it's almost always the above.

I called three numbers before I call the right number. 352-750-0000. Someone was here within an hour, checked the pressure at 60, said it was within boundaries.

I do plan to buy my own pressure gauge.

Pressure and Volume are different, but often confused.
