Having a 4 legged fur baby I have a question about fences in TV.
I see the courtyard villas have a wall in the back yard. perfect for pets
Do any other models have fences or other enclosures?
From pictures I see picket fences in other villa models but they don't look like they enclose the yard, at least from the pictures.
Are fences permitted?

Sorry no fences allowed, only in CYV.

You can, however, install the invisible fences.

Novie, many move here with their dogs. Usually, the dogs were used to yards and sometimes even acres to run in. Both dog and owner quickly got used to scheduled walks. I even know of one woman who lost 30 lbs walking her dog daily. I think the fenced yard is one of those things that becomes less important over time.

There is a small section of ranchers in Hemingway that have vinyl fences around the entire lot... a small scale experiment that hasn't been repeated and you would have to catch one on a resale.
There is a provision in the covenants for a small picket fence, attached to the house. I'm sure these are pretty limited, but, I have seen a few. Here's a picture I snapped in Sunset Pointe neighborhood.

Redwitch, I would love to one day again be able to take long walks, I have chronic Lyme Disease and my walking is very limited due to muscle pain and weakness and some days not able to walk at all but fortunately my fur baby is a 5# yorkie and older gal like me so has slowed down not requiring regular walks......so a fenced yard would take care of things on the days I am not up to walking......
I have been reading all the wonderful posts on TOTV and learning a lot about the villages lifestyle, home models and rules.......it really is the Disneyworld for adults.
