If you're a native of Boston, MA then did you know that....
BOSTONIANS WILL LOVE THIS!!!!!
The geographical center of Boston is in Roxbury. Due north of the center we find the South End, This is not to be confused with South Boston which lies directly east from the South End. North of the South End is East Boston and southwest of East Boston is the North End.
But you knew that, yes? :BigApplause:

I can't imagine a barn in the Back bay area, it just doesn't compute.

I grew up in the South End, attended school in the Back Bay, visited my son in the North End and I stopped trying to figure out the logic of the city layout many years ago.
My new challenge is trying to understand my way around TV. I'm now just understanding that "466" is not to be confused with "466A" and if you stay on 442/27 long enough, it splits in to two separate roads...one being 442 and the other 27.
Fortunately, I purchased a Tom Tom navigation system to guide me back home when I get lost.

You're really going to get lost if you try to follow 442 at the split. The combined routes are 441/27.
Don't worry. It's really not a problem getting around. Once you understand 4 or 5 major roads you're home free. Don't be upset if you get lost. Just have a good time finding your way back home.

Hey Barb, if memory serves me, I think that route 128 is also route 93, and route 95, also. Might be off on the numbers, but that road has 3 different names.

There is a stretch of Rt. 128 south that is also Rt. 1 north, Rt. 93 north. rt. 95 south.
