We put our cat's litter box in the closet across from the guest bedroom. We partially close the door as much as we can and have placed a hook at the top of the closet door so the door won't accidentally get shut. We also put a strong deodorizer on a shelf it the closet. We get full use of the closet except for part the floor! Works out really great for us and our cat! Also got an extra high cat box to eliminate the most of the litter coming out of the box.

We used to have a cat and installed a "cat door" to the outside. This eliminated the need for an litter box. Since the Anna Maria is all fenced in--would it keep your cat in? If so, that is what I would do. Otherwise, I would probably put it on the Lanai behind a potted plant.

I have a cat door on the kitchen/garage door and it works very well with the litter box in the garage.

We keep the litter box in the 3rd bedroom closet (the one in the front of the house - with the large window). We use that room as an office and it works for us. We also installed a pet door going out to the lanai, but hadn't thought of putting the litter box outside. Good idea.

We just bought an Anna Maria and we LOVE it. Hubs and I keep trying to figure out where to put the cat litter box. We have it in a guest bath now, under the vanity. No one really uses that bathroom anyway.

But, where to put it in the new house? The guest bath is too small and we think that one will be used. We have dogs, if that is part of your equation.

So, does anyone have a good place to put the box?

Thanks!
apparently you have cats and dogs,( would not advertise that here)just a word to let you know that you are only allowed 2 pets
