Thanks Kayaker, lovely picture, that's how I want to remember her. She sure lived a full and exciting life. RIP Liz....

Exquisitely beautiful, much married, softest voice, cosmopolitan, loved animals, controversial, kind, unusual violet eyes, played ingénues and voluptuous women of the world with equal ease.
No one ever quite like her.

Whoa - I didn't know that she had passed away and since my name is Liz Taylor, I was a little startled by this thread. I thought you knew something I didn't.

She will be missed. She certainly loved her children and did much philanthropic work. An exquisitely beautiful woman. I really liked her.

Liz has the most beautiful eyes I have ever seen and one the most beautiful woman who lived. I don't remember ever seeing another person with violet eyes.
I was shown the apartment/condo that she once owned at the Four Seasons Hotel. One view was of upper Manhattan and the other side was overlooking Central Park. It was autumn and the leaf coloring made it quite a sight. She had a very colorful life.
RIP Liz

I also didn't know until I read the post she'd passed away. Aww, rest in peace. One of my favorite actresses in some of the best movies ever made.

I checked out You Tube for videos about her - there are many - particularly by a Richard Bassett.
This one really touched me - it's about Elizabeth and her children - beautiful and sad. The music really gets to you.
How different from most of the top stars today.

I've heard about the violet eyes before but looking at the picture in this post they look blue to me, that's not important at this point, Elizabeth was one of a kind, a Grand Dame (sp?), you will be missed Elizabeth...gn
