Attended this show at Savannah Center last night. We had also attended last year. The show consists of over two hours of songs from Broadway hits.

These performers are very talented with an impressive resume of Broadway appearances. If you enjoy Broadway music you will not be disappointed, their voices are amazing.

Now for the disappointing part - the very small crowd at the show. This is the second show we have attended recently with a poor turnout. This cannot send a very positive statement to anyone who is considering opening a new Performing Arts Center in the area.

If you can get a ticket to one of tonight's last shows you won't be disappointed.

Wow, thanks for describing the show. Maybe we'll go get a ticket.

We experienced the same thing in December when we saw an Irish Christmas Show. This guy had sold out Carnegie Hall more than once and travels all over the globe, and here in The Villages, there were lots of empty seats. It was a fantastic show, too.

Maybe we TVers are relying on word-of-mouth recommendations from past appearances?

I attended last night, too. As is frequently the case, I wondered why such talented and professional folks, who can undoubtedly command mega-mega-bucks, can or will afford to perform here in our paradise?

Despite a less-than-full house, the audience was clearly enthusiastic. Perhaps that's what these performers feed on?

We do still need a proper Performing Arts Center, 'though I think it'll not happen soon. Meanwhile, let's enjoy the high-quality entertainment brought to us at amazingly low cost. My ticket read $19 - I suspect you'd have to multiply by at least 5 or 6 for a half-way decent Broadway ticket, maybe lots more!
