I had the opportunity to go over to the new Peachwave self serve Frozen Yogurt restaurant over the weekend and was it wonderful. They have about 16 flavors and you serve yourself, and its only .39 a oz. You can have as much as our stomach can handle and I think I overdosed but it was great and yes I will go back again. They have 15% coupons in some of the papers.

It's in Colony Plaza next to Ci's Ci's Pizza.
I love it, just trying to figure out how to stay away from there. It is very tasty and sinful for my diet.

There was another thread on Peachwave right after they first opened. Rave reviews for the most part. I was over a week or so ago and there were many folks setting outside in their personal chairs and the inside was packed. I was disappointed at first as they didn't have sugar free. In recent weeks they have been having a couple sugar free flavors. Since arriving in TV nearly a year ago I have been an Ollies fan, but since Colony is much much closer I have become a Peachwave convert. Their sugar free flavors with strawberries (no sugary syrup - fresh) are a diabetic's dream.

Glad to hear that Peachwave is carrying sugar free flavors now. Last time I was there they had a gazillion flavors but none of them were sugar free.

Maybe the monthly Crispers could switch to Peachwave in the heat of summer.
BUT, it isn't centrally located.

Do they have more than Frozen Yogurt? It is in a great location for us but wasn't open before we departed to the Far North at the end of January.

One problem ....they do not have nutritional information about the yogurt. When its sugar free, that usually means they've added fat and if fat free they have added sugar. Wish they have that information because there are many many hidden calories in al that good stuff !

The nutritional info is on a chart posted by where you pick up your cup.

The thing I hate about the place is buy the time you get to the end of the line there's hardly any room for the hot fudge:1rotfl:

I just talked to the owner over the weekend and he said its very possible he will be opening up another store on 441, that will be trouble for me because my wife loves this place, we were there 2 times this past weekend.

I think most of us eat sandwiches or salads at Crispers not the desserts, which happen to be glorious at Crispers, especially the gelato. Also, we have a lovely, shaded area outside Crispers in the summer.
I think you were kidding, but I don't want to confuse anyone, Crispers has been an icon for us.

O.K., that's it - I am NOT going to be reading this thread anymore. You people just keep throwing all this stuff around about how wonderful Peachwave is........and Sandy and I aren't there to check it out!!! :1rotfl:
However, you WILL find us there when we get back down there late next month. :MOJE_whot: Can't wait!!!
