...starts their move to the new much bigger and prettier library just next door on Monday--April 4. They will be on very limited hours while they move which may be 3 to 6 weeks or more. You can only get into the lobby area for a few hours on weekdays during the move period. Think it is from 11 to 3 that they will be open just to pick up holds, get tax material and return stuff. No shelf browzing nor computer use either.

They are not allowing patrons to do much while their workers do the move. So, if you are a Lady Lake Library user you may want to use Fruitland Park's Lake County branch while they get Lady Lake Library moved.

Cannot wait to see the new library in Lady Lake.

225 Guava Street is the old Lady Lake library address. I asssume they will keep the same address as they are adjacent and they can use the 225 place to get mail and stuff. The old place is right in front of the new one.

It is near the corner of CR466 and US 441/27. There's a Subway on the west side of street on 441/27 where you turn into the street where the library is on from 441/27.

There's a map at the bottom of this Lady Lake Library website-- http://www.ladylakelibrary.com/

Thanks for the info Tal

Sounds like it is right by the park that is a half a block south of 466 on 441.

The Lady Lake Community room shares the same parking lot as the old Lady Lake Library. There is a park in back of the Community Room along with playground equipment, a few ball diamonds and a basketball court near there.
