Almost a Resident

Getting ready this morning for an evening flight heading to the Villages to close on the new house. Very excited!!!!!! This forum has been so helpful..have obtained lots of information. Thanks to everyone!!!! Purchased a resale in Woodbury....will be by the pool tomorrow!!!!! Thanks again for all the great information! Will be full time residents in two years after retirement...but plan on enjoying TV as much as possible before then!!!!

Now for the moving part, trust me, it's the pits. The only good thing is when I get frustrated or exhausted at every turn I go on TOTV here and realize our dream to be full time is only around the corner...ONCE I get all this dang throwing away stuff done...

I know the feeling. Luckily, I filled a 30 yd dumpster when I was getting ready to put my house on the market, but I'll probably need another one (hopefully smaller) before I leave. I also have to contract with a shredding service to get rid of papers. Where did all this stuff come from????

Methinks moving in may be a non-issue given plans to be by the pool tomorrow. Congrats! You can't go wrong moving here and Woodbury is a very nice village.
