Our family will be staying with us over the Easter holiday. My daughter-in-law is interested in Pilates. We live near Lake Sumter. Are there Pilates classes in the Villages she can attend as our guest. We know a fee will be required.

Thanks

Look in the REC guide. There are Pilates classes very early in the morning at Chatham Rec Center several times a week. There may be some others also which will be listed in the REC guide. Those of course are free. If you belong to MVP fitness center there are pilates classes there as well. Not sure if she can get a guest pass without a member, but it is worth a phone call to them.

Cabo35,

What did you find out about your visiting DIL taking these classes? In case I want to take a class (fitness or otherwise) when I'm renting in TV this July. I will have a visitor's pass, but not the temporary $50 pass as I am not a golfer.
Thanks in advance.

Just got back in from Orlando. We picked up the Recreation Guide Mudder suggested at Lake Miona Center. We found Pilates classes at Chatham and Laurel Manor. We also picked up guest passes at Lake Miona and were advised to bring the pass and a form of photo ID to the Pilates classes. Hope that helps.

For anyone who's interested...I've been looking for a private Pilates trainer since I came to TV two years ago. I recently located Judy, who used to be at MVP. She's great!

Judy is an excellent instructor. I always enjoyed her classes at MVP and sorry that she is no longer there.

The long time Pilates instructor at MVP (Susan a TV resident) is also very, very good.
