2007 GMC Acadia is blowing 80 degree air from the ducts. I am reluctant to take it to the dealer as they do little more than hunt and peck until they "think" they found something.
It seems like the compressor is coming on and going off intermittently. I measured the system for gas level and it shows OK.
Does anybody know a reliable auto air conditioning mechanic in our area?

The most reliable, honest and reasonably priced repair shop I've found in the area is Lady Lake Quality Tire. They're located on the right side of 466 east, about a block from the 466 441/27 intersection. Talk to Vaughn, the service manager. The place looks kind of junky, but they do excellent work. I've sent several close friends there.

another vote for Lady Lake Quality Tire - can't begin to tell ya how much $ they saved our friends with all types of services! we have not had to use their services to-date, but it is the only place we will take our car when and if we have to!
