No explanation from the Nice Administrator for the downtime? All along I thought it was my computer and was consistently switching browsers, to no avail. Sheez, some kind of word would be nice as to wha happened....:Screen_of_Death:

I am out of town attending my daughters graduation in Syracuse. I didn't even know the site was down until I saw an email from Darrel the next morning that was asking our server operator to reboot the system.
Many times, there are no "stories" connected with being down. A sudden burst of log-ins or even an electrical spike at the server site in Canada can cause it. Please remember that when we are down, there is no way to explain to you that it's not your computer. We have to be on line in order to communicate with you.
I apologize for not commenting at the time, but my attention was distracted away from TOTV for a short period.

I remembered that TH was going out of town. I just thought the total blackout was his way of issuing an OOO (Out of Office) reply. But, jeepers, I felt so disconnected for those several hours.

Of course you don't owe us any explanation when the system goes down. We're just lucky to be able to play on TOTV without paying membership charges! I tried to log on and figured out that TOTV was down for maintenance, or whatever.
I personally think you Admins do a superb job. And of course you all have personal lives and family and friends and a life outside TOTV. Sometimes we depend on you way too much. :024:
Thanks for all you do!

Kudos to the folks that run this site for having a site special enough that people even notice when it is down!
PS. Here is a technical tip for TOTV users. If you can get to most every other site you use on the Internet except TOTV, it may not be your browser.....http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys/smiley-computer001.gif (http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys.php)
