Tribute to Mother Eagle

For those of you who watched the pair of blad eagles raise their eaglets in 2010 and 2011 in Norfolk, Va., I've enclosed a video tribute to the female who was killed by an airplane recently. She was a magnificent mother and a joy to watch. I miss her.
The three eaglets are being raised in a wildlife center. See below.

bk, I didn't produce the video; it was on the site that has the eagle cam of the three eaglets.

They appear to be thriving and will be fledging (flying) soon. I also saw a video of the male returning to the nest after the female was killed and the eaglets taken to the wildlife center. It was so sad, he appeared to be dazed and kept looking for his mate and eaglets but the nest was empty. So sad.
