OK...the wife and I are just back from our LPP at TV! Great trip! Everything was just perfect.

I guess I nodded out during a short talk about golf at the clubs as my wife recalled that the agent said tee times were awarded by a POINT system.

Can anyone elaborate on this...and my apologies for not paying attention.

You get assigned points every time you play. You get extra points if your a no show. You get points if you get the exact tee time and club you chose. Points are reset weekly. The less points you have the more likely you will get the tee time and club you want. Seems to work well.

The amount of points one has is more critical during the snow bird season when everyone is trying to get preferential Tee Times, but significantly less important during the Spring and summer periods.
