Just decided to switch from DirecTV & CenturyLink to Comcast Triple Play. Read a post yesterday on the Landscape forum where someone had been unable to reach McGowan Landscaping and she found out the problem was her Comcast phone service. Has anyone had problems with this? The installation isn't until 6/12 so I have time to cancel. Thanks in advance.

Had Triple Play for my renters Nov.-April. No complaints.
I have Comcast for phone and have no problem. Couldn't reach a local telephone number? Seems strange. Did they state WHY they couldn't reach the number?

Over 2 years with Comcast Triple Play and not a single problem with the phone service. Really enjoy the unlimited long distance.

 Thanks everyone, I feel better about my decision. I don't think the cable will go out nearly as much as the stupid satellite but I do have a cell phone just in case.

Lots of problems with Comcast phone and internet. They never could fix the problem. In one two week period I had three tech visits to the house. Finally switched to Century Link.

It wasn't McGowan that had Comcast. They use T-Mobile so they can talk to each other like using walkie-talkies. Their problem was not receiving calls FROM Comcast customers. Comcast said it wasn't their fault, but of course they would. I assume they finally got things worked out. You could still call them from a cell phone, but not a land line.

We've been residents here for 7 years and used them all............
Comcast was a nightmare every month with extra undisclosed charges and having to take the time to go to the office. After 2 years of this we switched to Century Link for bundled services - best decision so far for services.
