I just purchased a I-Phone from Verzion. They are the service that works in my Villa in Poinciana.

My son told me about these apps which I have loaded into my I-phone.

Many I have not used alot but they seem to be interesting. I will share the ones that I have downloaded into my phone. But would like to know if you folks out there are using others that I should look at and for what use.

I also would like to know what golf app you may be using? today I used Golf Logix it cost nothing but with the no charge app it would only give me a reading to the center of the green. It also allows me to use their Champions app for 2 rounds of golf. The champions level cost $20.00. I fell in love with this option. Seems like a great deal. What do you think? I also was told that the (I think) Golf Shot app was better. Does anyone out there have golfshot?
After using this app I have a sky caddie sg2.5 for sale. But that is for another post. However you can PM me if interested. But that is not for what this thread is about.

Below are the apps that I have down loaded and what I think they do. I would like to know if there are others that you may use in The Villages and think are interesting or of great use.

Pandora --- A radio type app that you type in the artist and itwill play the music of that artist and similar type music.

Google for searchs (free)

Google Earth to see your home. (free)

Gas Buddy--- Shows you the prices of area gas stations. (GREAT) (free)

Kayak--- to check out Flights, Hotels, Rental Cars and etc. (free)

My Radar--- Shows the radar of the area that you are in. (free)

FlightV---Shows the time of flights just enter flight number. (free)

Tip Calculator--- What more can I say (free)

Redlaser--Reads bar codes and tells you the price at other places (free)

Shazam---will listen to song and tell you who recorded it and what the name of the song. (free)

Around Me -- this one will tell you everything that is around me.
Short story my son was on business by himself in California in a hotel and felt ill in the middle of the night and went to this app pushed on hospital and drove there and had an emergency appendectemy. This is a great app! A must if you do not have it loaded. (GREAT!)

Food spooning and urban spoon these are resturant information apps. Very interesting.

Are there more out there that you enjoy?

Just FYI: There are threads about this that already took place. I'm sure there were some goods ideas in there as well.
