Door to Door Service To OIA

Can anyone recomend a good reliable and reasonablly priced car service??

The Villages Airport Van does door to door service to and from OIA. It costs $35. However, it is a shared ride service and the actual time it takes is about 2.5 hours either direction. It is usually about 1 hour before leaving The Villages plus the 1.5 hour drive to the airport. Returning is about the same because they pick passengers up at different airport locations and drop them off at their Villages homes. Figure about 2.5 hours of being in the van.

It will do in a pinch, but not a pleasant way to either start or end a trip.

This is not the shuttle bus run by The Villages that costs $30 and leaves from Spanish Springs and Lake Sumter Landing.

There is also a service (sort of like a cab) that will take you as well. I'm sorry I don't remember the name and I think they also priced out at $35.00 but may also offer some "specials" Wonder if they don't advertise on this site??!! Perhaps someone else can answer that question. We used this service last summer when we didn't want to make the drive north.
