Well, we accomplished it. Sold our condo in Michigan in 3 days (2 offers) closed last week!!! Close in TV next week. Furniture coming first week in July, we arrive (full-time) first week in September. It has been a whirlwind time! Looking forward to the St. James Club and meeting new friends.

Looks like we will be neighbors. We will be building on Barksdale (lot 8) on the bend backing up to the golf course. We also sold our home on Cape Cod quickly, received three offers the first weekend and should have a signed P&S by this weekend. We were'nt expecting to sell so quickly so we are under the gun. Hope to begin construction in August so now need to find a rental. We also look forward to meeting everyone when we get to The Villages.

Second, we made sure our home was in the best condition possible and showed well. Third, pure luck. The buyer that bought our home was not even in the market to buy. He came to the open house "just to take a look" and ended up buying it. He was also a cash buyer. You can't get much luckier than that! I am also a firm believer that everything happens for a reason so for those that are still trying to sell their home - just keep the faith. Your time is coming.

So much truth. We priced ours at what we was told to expect. That is what we got. IMO this is the way to move it.
