Maybe a silly question but are there any rules about putting your BBQ outside the lanai? I have an Iris and there is no cement outside the lanai but I'd like to put in some blocks and put the BBQ on them...any info would be appreciated..thanks!

As far as I know, there are not rules against doing that. However, I would suggest building a brick area (maybe about 8 feet square or so) so the bbq grill could sit on it - and not right next to the wall of the house - or you might damage the siding from the heat.

I prefer a rib-eye steak and like it medium rare with an ice-cold Stella Artois on the side. What time is dinner?

In my humble opinion..OUTSIDE is the ONLY place to put a grill! I will never understand why people put a grill inside their lanai! Have you ever seen a grill flame up and out of control? I have and there is nothing you can do until the grease burns off. IF this occurred in a lanai...your entire house could catch fire! Just common sense...which it seems many are lacking!

angel222,

Rib Eye, medium rare, just past the point where a vet might get it back up on its feet, baked potato, fully loaded, large glass of ice tea.

Have a great BBQ and have fun.

Wow T, something we agree on. Who would have thought! You can come to my bbq anytime. The Stella is always just a bit warmer than ice.
