Went to Cane garden a few weeks ago and was glad to see they resumed their summer special.
Price Fix dinner $11.95, includes soup or salad, choice of entree and desert (no substitutions) with purchase of a beverage.
Great deal. Entrees even include a 7 oz. sirloin which is quite good.

Fast forward... price is now $12.95!!!!
Asked server why the increase and was told people complained because they had to buy a beverage.

So to all my fellow Villagers who enjoy a sweet tea, a cup of coffee or maybe a beer or a glass of wine with dinner you are now paying a $1.00 more for dinner to make up for all the cheapskates who won't spring for a drink with dinner.

The Sicilian Meatloaf is the greatest ! The raise of a buck still makes it a bargain and it is a good menu. Easy to see why they rate very high !

Renting in TV until 7/14. So Cane Garden is good. $12.95 sounds reasonable to me. Maybe I will check out Cane Garden while I'm here. I'm renting near Nancy Lopez -- how is the food there?

Nancy Lopez is one of the nicer places to eat.

Monday night is the Lobster night at Lopez Legacy Club. You get two lobster tails for $22. They are great!

I agree that the Lopez Legacy CC is one of the best restaurants in The Villages. I also think Glenview CC is excellent for both food and service.
