:sad:I planted 2 bougainevilleas 2 years ago. They died back in the winter but both cam back strong and healthy. One is in full sun all day, the other gets sun in the morning.
Neither plant has ever produced a bloom, not even a bud. Just thorns. Any suggestions??

That's what I was going to say,,,, what the grumpy gardener said. Bouganvillas are in abundant in SoCal which is really desert weather, so I would suggest from my experience, full sun (as much as you can give it), hold back on water and fertilizer. Sometimes the more you cut it back, the more it will flower afterwards.
I planted one here and it died off both cold winters but has grown back without much work, actually the more you ignore them, the better they will grow. Good luck, they are a beautiful and colorful plant.
