I just wanted to thank everyone for their warm welcome! As mentioned, I have friends and family that live in the Villages and I have been a lurker on the site for several years. I've also owned other forums and this seemed like a natural opportunity. My goal is to do my best to fill the big shoes from the founders and continue on all the things that make this site so great!

If I can assist in any way you can PM me at user Admin.

Congratulations on your new venture. You really are following in big footsteps; but the path that the others have started is the right direction. I look forward to moving forward with you as our new administrator.

Admin - Are you "Kenneth" as Jan mentioned in his thread about the change in TOTV ownership? Can you tell us a bit about yourself - background, what brought you into acquiring the TOTV forum, etc.?

Just curious, that's all!!

Thanks everyone for the warm welcomes!

I've had a couple of PM's and would like to make sure there isn't any confusion, but we have no affiliation with The Villages Management company.

I've owned other forums and have friends and family that live in The Villages and have been visiting TOTV for several years but as a 'lurker' and not too actively posting. When the opportunity presented itself to own TOTV it seemed like a natural fit. I have a partner that works with me as well. Our goal is simply to continue to maintain the security and performance of the site and build on all the hard work that has been done by the founders.

We are very laid back and only have 2 things that would have concern for us. One is that we expect everyone to be treated with mutual respect and two that we protect the advertisers who are paying to be on the site and support the cost of it being online.

I think I have a great sense of humor but my wife would probably disagree! Let us know if we can assist in any way.

Thank you for posting this.

I am someone who agrees that everyone should be treated with mutual respect and agree to disagree repectfully is my train of thought.

I also appreciate when certain members are humorous as I enjoy a good laugh. It's always good to have a good sense of humor.

Best wishes on your future endeavor.

Sounds like a great future for TOTV.

I especially like that word respect.
The humor word comes in handy, too!

Congratulations!

Welcome. This site provided us with a wealth of information prior to our recent purchase and move to The Villages. I also use it to determine the best repair services to use as folks on here are quick to complement good service.:BigApplause:
