Do they still have the Golf Cart Drive-in Movies at the Polo Fields? And if they do, when? Thanks

Holding hands??

Sparking is a bit uncomfortable in a golf cart- can't bend the way we used to.

Sparking Lamps:

Small sparking lamps were used to limit the courting time of a young couple. When the light went out it meant it was time for the gentleman to leave. If a parlor lamp had been used it would have stayed lit for hours.

My Mom grew up in Gloucester, Mass and said she and her beau would sit together in the parlor until the Sparking lamp went out. Parents were never far away so no hanky panky would go on. She said "sparking" was the highly supervised equivalent of "making out."

Can someone answer the question? I'd like to know too. Would like to schedule a visit during that time if possible. Thanks!

It's been at least two years since they scheduled one. The experience for many was not they had hoped for.

I haven't heard anything about a drive-in is a long time.

Wouldn't a golf cart "cruise-in" be cool... Have a good band on the Polo grounds and a cruising route to follow.

Now that would be cool . . .
