A little more entertainment.
Sky, are you part of a clique? If you are, may I join it??Gracie, my post was a pun on the topic of the closed thread.
Where it started in another thread, I've yet to discover.
(Rats! I think I've found the thread after posting this message)
As for being part of a clique... if I am, they haven't told me about it yet. So I can't say weither or not you can join it! However, if you want we can start one even it the membership consists of only you and I! We can call it... "The Slick Clique!"

Our former administrator had a habit of just deleting posts without indicating it had been done. I sent him a PM saying that he certainly has the right to do so, but that it was common courtesy for administrators to at least make an entry so that people didnt waste time trying to find their deleted entry.

I would venture a guess that it and more has happened to a whole lot of us, and multiple times too! http://www.casachayanne.com/emoticons/shameonyou.gif

I was sorry to see the Pigeons Thread close ... I thought we could have some fun with it! But I believe that the Admins are always right and make wise decisions. They are privy to much more "behind the scenes" stuff than we know about.

Thanks for all the feedback. We appreciate the open and free discussions that occur on social networking sites like this. It is our intention to not stifle those discussions, but will always stand by the necessity to maintain mutual respect for each other and even if we don't agree with a particular user or comment that we can still respect each other and keep those discussions directed toward the topic at hand.
As the new owners we will make a concerted attempt to notify a user if we have felt the need to be involved in a situation.
Let us know if we can do anything to assist or improve.

From the Admin:
I've had a request this week from a user to remove their membership as a result of perceived negative comments. Everyone's thoughts, comments, and feedback are appreciated but respect for each other is paramount and comments should be directed toward a topic and not another user in any way.
I believe this thread has lived it's usefulness and is now closed.
YOU are a gentleman and a scholar, Sir!

I agree with that you need a good admin if you have a forum

I too think the new Admins are doing a great job, and particularly are impressed with their focus on mutual respect, and keeping the posts to the topic at hand.
