View Full Version : It's RAINING!!!
At least here in Caroline and from checking out the web cam in Spanish Springs, it appears to be raining there, also.
Weather has been mighty hot and my plants welcome the wet weather, even if it only lasts for a short while.
Is it raining in your part of TV?

Yes, FINALLY! We started to think Markridge Loop in Pennecamp was a desert. We've seen it rain just down the street on St. Charles and it never makes it here. The lightening is pretty strong tonight. Take cover.

Raining in Palo Alto Pooh! Thundering too!! We tried to take the dog for a golf cart ride about an hour ago but apparently he could hear the thunder before we could and he just wanted to come home so he could hide out in his closet! Love the rain!:pepper2:

Pouring in Tamarind Grove.

I've got the Lake Sumter web cam showing in a window on my computer. I don't live too far from the square and it's kind of spooky watching the lightning flash outside of my house and then seeing it light up the square. There's a slight delay from live time. And, my solar tubes are like strobe lights tonight... ;)

Isn't that weird, Pooh? Mine's in the bathroom so it's really dark & I was walking by when the lightning hit & it really was like a strobe light. I'm just down the road in Amelia. And to think I watered some of my plants earlier. I heard the thunder but wasn't sure what direction the storm was heading. Oh well. Rain is good.

They've moved the northern border of TV to Canada? Yeaa! I'm just over 200 miles due south of Montreal and that means that I'm already back in TV..... and didn't even have to travel the 1200 miles to get there! :pepper2:

Yes GG, I'll be back in October. But I won't know where to find you cuz you've moved! I miss TV terribly, but I do enjoy the cooler weather in Canada.
Back to topic ... I just checked the Lady Lake weather forecast and it is predicting rain for the next ten days. Is August rainy season in TV? I guess I can stop worrying about my lawn drying out!

Yes, Bare, rains just about every day at various times. On Friday night, it was the worse storm and we were at Red Sauce outside on the porch, dancing and singing with all the thunder and lightening blazing around us. It was fun, I've never seen it rain so hard. Nothing keeps us in the house... NOTHING!! LOL...
Today we had rain on Lake Weir on the boat, it was nice and cool and lots of fun getting rained on in our bathing suits. When the thunder started around 1pm, we decided to head in but it was a fun day anyway.

It happened so quickly here in Heavenly Hadley. Sky got totally black and the wind was very strong, and then the skies opening up. It may have hailed also, either that or the drops were huge, hitting against my window. I hid in the closet with the dogs as usual...
